Bangs

So, I decided to get bangs on Avery...was kinda nervous about doing it but, I really do like them.
Although, it is going to take me a little while to get used to them b/c she does look so diferent.

Scrapbooking and Allowance...

So, I scrapbooked with some friends Friday night until 2 am and this is "1"of my "2" lo's!! I wanted to share this one so my sister could see. I am in love with this paper! Just love the colors and thought went well with the picture.




AND, this is Dawson playing with his new toy he bought with his allowance money. We started him on a "money manage" system using 3 jars. One being, spend, save, and charity. Each week we give him the amount of his age and split it into the 3 jars. So, we let him go to Target the other night and spend his money on a toy he had been wanting for a long time. He actually goes up to the regiter and pays for it himself....it's all part of the process. He knows that once the money is gone it's gone. That's how they start to learn to manage it. One of the things that Eddie and I decided is that he does not get money for doing everyday chores...they are just expected of him. So, each Sat. we give him the money for him to divide between his jars.
Anyways, I just wanted to share that b/c I am excited to see the outcome. I think it is very important to teach how to manage and be responsible with money at an early age.

A New Smile

Dawson had a visit from the tooth fairy last night.
Eddie pulled his tooth out...he wanted me to but I just could not do it. He already has a new tooth coming in. I don't like it b/c he looks too big! He is growing up too fast.

Pierced...

Avery got her ears pierced today for her birthday!!!


She got little dimond flower earings with her birth stone in the middle.
They are so cute! She was so brave and did not even cry. I was not suprised though b/c she had been asking to get her ears pierced and was so excited. We had them done at Libby Lu....which I think made a better experince. I see us having a party there in our near future....Avery loved it! Here is the link to http://www.clublibbylu.com/.

On a roll...

Here are 4 lo's I did this past week. It was so nice to be able to get some pages done and not feel guilty about it. I have had more time geting my house in order since my kids have been in school...I can't get into scrapbooking with a messy house.
Anyways, I just wanted to share ... let me know what you think. Now I am off to orginize my scap sapce.

Very Sad day.....

Today is one of the saddest day's for me....Dawson is going to his first FULL day of school! He had 2 phase in day's and they weren't so bad b/c he was only there from 8-11 am but, today he will be there untill 7:15-2:15 WOW! 7 hours! The hardest part this morning for me was seeing him drive off with his daddy and knowing that I am not going to be there for him all day....I think im going to cry. Im already having mixed emotion's about the whole school thing in deciding which one is the right one for him. So, it just makes it that much harder for me. But, I do have to say that I am very pleased with the class/teacher's (yes teacher's) he has. Dawson is in a class that has two teachers and I think that is GREAT .... exactly what he need's :) he also got the teacher that we requested for. She has been teaching for over 30 years and the other teacher is right out of school, which is a really good combination.
I just pray everyday that he is treated well, learn's what he need's to be learning , makes good choices, and good friends.
AND...to top it all off Avery started her pre-school this week too! My babies are growing up too fast! She will be going 2 days a week for 5 hours. I was having mixed emotion's about her school too b/c Dawson went to a different pre-school and was there all 4years and I have switched Avery to a new one. I felt much better about it though when I found out that a friend of mine was going to be her teacher.

Just wanted to share some pictures of him...

This was Eddies Father's Day gift. We all went to the Sounds game and they let all the Dad's and kid's go out on the field to throw ball's . Here Ozzy came out on the field and Dawson got his ball signed by him.

















This is Dawson ridding his bike WITHOUT training wheels. I have noticed, when he wants to do something bad enough....he know's how to do it! He learned in one day!
My little boy is getting so big. Makes me sad.
