{Tasty Tuesday..... flat bread}



This is something I just kinda made up as I went....

fortunately it turned out to be a hit.
Not really sure what the difference is between flat bread and pizza ....I personally think it's just a fancier way of calling it.
Regardless.. pizza, flat bread, it's good!!  Trust me ; )
I used:
pizza dough ( I used whole wheat)
sun dried tomato pesto
pancetta cubes
shallots
fresh mozzarella
arugula
I rolled the pizza dough into a long thin rectangle shape and brushed with olive oil.
Then put straight on the oven rack for about 10 min
I then cooked my pancetta and sauteed my shallots.
when pizza dough is done, top with ingredients except for the arugula.
Cook until cheese is melted.
Toss arugula with olive oil , fresh lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Top pizza.
Enjoy!

Your flat bread looks fabulous, I love all the fresh greens on top. Not sure what the difference is between flat bread and pizza either.

Yumm-O! I wish I could 'whip' up stuff like that. I usually just whip up some cereal.
