Just when I thought the season was to an end.... Dawson makes the All Star team!

Really .....in all seriousness, I am very proud of him!! He has improved SO much this year from when he first started!

This sport has (and Will) take over our life BUT, I am starting to just accept and enjoy it!!

The baby shower......

So, I held my first baby shower for a friend(( who is having twins)) today and it went GREAT!!!!

Here are some pictures I wanted to share........

Here is Synetha smelling the diaper...we played "guess the candy bar" game

It's were you get 5-10 different candy bars, melt it and put in a diaper. Then you have to guess what candy bar it is.

Another thing we did was decorate onsies for her with markers.

It was so much fun and supper cute!!

and this is (from right to left) Samantha, Ashley, Synetha, me, and Misty. We were the host for Synetha's shower.

My first diaper cake....

This was so much fun to make! I am having a baby shower for a friend this Saturday and wanted to make a diaper cake as a centerpiece. I have never made one before but now I am hooked!
It was so easy and the ideas of what you can do with them are endless! With this one I wanted to keep it simple and to the theme ....... Hot pink and Lime Green.
I hope she will like it!!

School's out for Summer!

So, my baby graduated kindergarten yesterday! What a year it has been! It started out a little rough but, in the end he has learned so much! I am so, so proud of him!!

I don't have a picture of his graduation yet but, I will post it soon!

Now a moment of truth.....I hate seeing my babies growing so fast and going to school BUT, I have enjoyed being able to get things done while they are gone and just having some free time.

Therefore, we are going to stay busy this summer. Dawson is going to a basketball camp starting next week, we have VBS coming up which I will be working at and, we will travel to visit family and friends.

Our new addition......

Going to be a quick one b/c I got ALOT to do but.......I want to introduce our new member of our family.....our puppy......currently being called puppy b/c we all can't agree on a name for her.

Some names that we have been tossing around are cinnamon (( b/c that is what her previous owners had been calling her)) or Zoe, Jade, and Abby. If you have a favorite, let me know!

STOP!!

Avery needs to STOP growing!!! How did she get so big so fast !?! I didn't realize how big she looks until seeing these pictures. She is a little teenager....ALL THE WAY!!

FYI... I survived the "13.1" yet again....AND...even beat my time last year from 2:06 to 1:59!

3 weeks from now...

this is where I will be....running the 1/2 CMM. Even though this will be my second year running it I am more nervous now than I was last year! As strange as it may sound, I think it is easier going into it not knowing what to expect than knowing.

Even though, I am excited and anxious to see how I do. My friend Shannon and I will be running it together and this will be her first time to not only run the race but to ever run this far. So excited for her! Depending on how I do I am going to consider moving up to the full (26.2) marathon next year.

So, wish me luck!

Play Date...

Spring break is here so to keep them entertained we had a "play date". We went to this place called http://www.themonkeystreehouse.com/gallery.html (this is the only way I know how to do this).....what a cute place !! Basicly, it's a really big play room for kids!

Under the weather....

So, everyone in our household has been sick except Eddie. I really can't wait for some consistant WARM weather!! I am counting down the days untill we head to Florida...exactly one week from Saturday....and praying for warm weather there.

BUT, I wanted to share some pictures of Morgan's B-day party that we went to last weekend.

She had little dog cakes for all the kids and Morgan's of course had the princess crown. I thought that was such a cute idea!

Scrappiness and Friends....

So, I actually scrapbooked a page yesterday! I used everything from the JBS kit (with the exception of a few things). I love, love, love her new line....and these colors are just AMAZING!
I could not wait to scrap this picture that my dear friend Amber took!
It's funny...you wouldn't know by just looking at the picture but, the only way we could get Avery to smile was to say "show me your teeth" which is what she is doing here. lol!
