{Soaking it in....}

Im soaking up e-v-e-r-y moment I can get of this boy playing with his toys.

I love that right now he still likes to play with legos...using his imagination.

I want to hold on to these moments for as long as I can.....

trying not to remember how soon it will be before these days are gone....

I just wanted to share a little collage I made of my sisters wedding...

..... it was a beautiful day.

{Our week......}

We are back from a week filled with sandy beaches,

sandcastles,

naps on the sand,

put-put golf,

and best of all.....

the wedding of my little sister!

It was a week to always remember!

...and our feet will be in the sand.

{Good morning.....}

It's a rainy, gloomy day here  (has been for a few days now)  and I am finding it really hard to get myself going ......ever have one of those days??

 Unfortunately, I know them all too well. ; )

So in order to find some motivation.... I made my favorite breakfast! Sounds strange...I know...but this dish makes me happy....even on day like this.

all you need is a couple slices of  bread (I used baguette) , cottage cheese, pine nuts , fresh basil, and tomato.

mix the last four ingredients together, add S&P, and top with the toasted bread slices.
Then eat  every - single - bite!

 

I hope everyone had a Happy Easter weekend!

 Now Mothers Day is just right around the corner! ; )

{Spring Wedding Shower}

My sister had the most beautiful Spring Wedding Shower! She was one lucky girl! The decor, food, company, and gifts were all just perfect.

AND....even the location was not bad either.  I loved this home nestled in the woods right off the river....

ahhhh....I could defiantly see myself taking a nap on that hammock everyday : )   So beautiful!

I am so happy for my sister and thankful that she had this wonderful shower for her upcoming wedding.

{Butterfly Cupcakes}

 Spring is in the air and what better way to celebrate than with some.... butterfly cupcakes?!?

I have to say, I had so much fun making these and (as you can imagine) my kids did too! I got my inspiration  from these and just added my "own" touch to them.

    



Not only did I have fun making these for Spring But, I also got to use my cute new cupcake stand!

I had the privilege to take some engagement pictures for my sister a couple months ago and wanted to share with you.....

They will be getting married on the beach in May.....

I am so proud and happy for my little sister!!

Pilot....our goldendoodle puppy.

When I once said I would never have another dog....that went out the door when I saw how cute these dogs are. And...not only are they cute, they don't shed!!  Which is a big deal for me.

now if only we can get through this puppy stage ; )
