Home for the Holidays......

Christmas is almost here!!!
So I thought I would share what our home looks like for the holidays...

 Decorating for Christmas is my Favorite!
 I love the cozy feel with all the glimmering lights, fresh tree smell, Christmas music playing, handmade decorations, stockings hung, and most importantly remembering the" reason" for the season....

I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays!!

She's Seven!!!

On Sunday we celebrated my baby girls Seventh birthday!!
She wanted a party...so we gave her one!!

My sister and I transformed the dinning room into Avery's Sewing Boutique.

it included button cupcakes.....

 

ribbon, button, embellishments, and more.... 



the party bags were filled with kid friendly sewing kit and a few other little treats.

I finally got to put my vintage fabric to use!

The girls made a fabric hoop to take home.  We used fabric glue and did some hand stitching.

they all turned out SEW cute!

after cake and ice cream we all played pin the heart on lalaloopsy. (Thanks Heather!)

It was a great day!

Cookie time.......

I will be making these with Avery and 20 other kids today in her class. 

Should be fun : )

 

I wanted to try and find something cute and easy for the kids and something other than the typical iced sugar cookie.

 

So when I came across these cute little reindeer I new they would be perfect! ( plus who doesn't love nutter butters??)  

Thanks to my PINTEREST I new exactly where to go when I found them. Oh pinterst..how I love thee
I'm sure by now everyone has pinterest, but if you don't you need to get it! It's super fun and easy. I use it all the time.

So wish me luck.
